Living Room Shows
..................................................................................................................................................................

I wanna play a show in your living room--just like you see in the videos below!

Read the following suggestions, and drop me a line (Subject Line: "Livining Room Show") if you'd like to host a house show. You can also reach me @ (440) 941-3650

1. SPACE: You gotta have room enough in your house or apartment to comfortably seat at least a dozen or so people and an area for merch (a card table will do). Sorry, no outside shows. One of the main reasons I started playing music publicly was to no longer be the guy 'round the campfire waiting for everyone to stop socializing so they can listen to me sing sad songs.

2. PARKING/NOISE: There ought to be enough parking nearby and your neighbors should be cool. Nothing spoils a private performance like a visit from a pissed off neighbor--or the police for that matter. It wouldn't be the first time the cops showed up 'cause I was singing too loud!

3. ATTENDANCE: The shows will not be open to the public. You invite who you'd like (presumably people you think would enjoy my music), and you choose whether or not to A: sell tickets in advance ($10 suggested), B: "pass the hat"-- or some sort of tip jar--during the performance or C: provide a baseline guarantee yourself.

4. AMPLIFICATION: You don’t need any sort of sound system, and you decide whether you'd like me to play un-amplified or through a small PA.

5. ACCOMMODATIONS: If you live more than a 3hr. drive from Cleveland, it'd be awfully cool if I could crash on your couch. As for your the audience, it’s very common to have a pot-luck dinner prior to the performance so everyone can socialize before the music starts, and this way you won’t have to spend a bunch of money on food and drink. Actually, the first house concert I played featured a sort of "wine-luck" affair, which was extra fun!
